Karen called me at 1:30 this afternoon on the way home from school. Yes, you guessed it, she was having contractions and was in labor. She came home and we left for the hospital. We got here about 4:30 PM and she had dilated 3 centimeters. They brought us the delivery room and got Karen all hooked up. Karen was having contractions every four minutes and they were pretty intense. She finally got her epidural and she was at peace. She is now sleeping, so that is why I am able to write this. The doctor came in about 8:30 PM and broke her water. At that time, she was 5 centimeters. More than likely Jonathan will come tonight.
